Ginger Fried Chicken Recipe

  • 1 Chicken Chopped into pieces
  • 2 Cups plain flour
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Ginger paste
  • 1 Tablespoon ground coriander seeds
  • 2 Cups Water

Serves: 4

Method

Mix 1 cup of flour with the water to make a batter using a hand whisk. Do not overmix the batter, a few lumps will be ok. Season well with salt and pepper and add the ginger and coriander. Pour the remaining flour into a shallow bowl. Dip the chicken pieces first into the flour and then into the batter and deep fry until cooked through.
